The funding intel layer
the SEC made possible.

FlareSight reads SEC Form D filings the moment they're submitted, verified and days ahead of the news.

Why we built this

Every time a startup raises money in the US, they file a Form D with the SEC within 15 days. That filing is public — but buried in a government database most investors never check. FlareSight reads those filings the moment they land, enriches them with founder data, and makes them searchable. The result: you see deals days before they hit TechCrunch or Crunchbase.

The data

All funding data is sourced directly from SEC EDGAR — the same system the government uses. We parse every Form D filing, verify the entity, and enrich it with additional signals including founder profiles, sector classification, and company metadata. Nothing is crowdsourced or estimated. If it's in FlareSight, it was filed with the SEC.

Who it's for

FlareSight is built for investors who move first. Angel investors, VCs, and scouts who want to reach founders before the round is oversubscribed. Also useful for founders benchmarking their raise, and for analysts tracking sector-level funding trends.

What's free

Anyone can search and browse companies, see funding amounts, round stage, sector, and location — no account required. Pro unlocks founder contact details, emails, LinkedIn profiles, and full company intelligence.
